Over the last few weeks I have been working on the following background for a game world called Grit. I have a map of the world and Im planning to add a detailed study of Herlain; the largest Human dominated culture in Grit. You can read the case study of this area or just begin with the general information on Grit itself.

The Grit world is purely designed for the fantasy genre but it does contain some rules for those who wish to use it particularly in AD&D. Personally, I prefer WHFRP, but as Dungeons and Dragons seems to be the dominant game in the roleplaying community, I thought it wiser to direct the rules toward this audience.

It hasnt been an easy job putting this site together; especially typing the world background, and quite frankly, I doubt if this entire effort will even be noticed. However, once you start a job, youve got to get it done, right? SO here it is. Please, if you would like to make any suggestions to me or offer some council on the make up of this website, give me a call. Id be happy to hear from other Roleplayers out there.
